An exciting new fellowship will be introduced by the NZ-UK Link Foundation next year, in conjunction with Wine Marlborough and British Master of Wine John Avery. Details of the new fellowship are covered in the latest newsletter.
The latest two young chefs - Brit Luke Fouracre and Kiwi Thomas Williams - have been announced as the winners of the 2009 Culinary Exchange and will be switching countries early in 2010 to gain work experience in top restaurants. The newsletter also announces the latest NZ Discretionary Award winners - flight nurse Karyn Hathaway and film archivist Mark Williams, while, John Molloy - the third NZ Cranfield Alumni Scholar - reported back from his first week at Cranfield School of Management, where he is studying for an MBA.
