Neil Cross, novelist and scriptwriter for acclaimed BBC spy drama 'Spooks' was guest speaker at a sell-out mid-winter lunch organised by NZ Friends of the NZ-UK Link Foundation.

Guests found out more about Neil, how the plots are developed, what might happen in the next series and what happened to MI5's Head of Counter Terrorism Harry Pearce...he was abducted, taped and zipped into a body bag in the cliff-hanger final episode of the most recent series!

They also enjoyed a buffet lunch with complimentary glass of wine or juice at one of Wellington's smartest little hotels.

RSVPs were required before 7 August with payment to Lunch with Spooks, NZ-UK Link Foundation, P O Box 1812, Wellington 6035. Cheques to be made out to NZ-UK Link Foundation. No tickets were issued.
