Respected professor and author on leadership and performance, Professor Andrew Kakabadse from the UK's Cranfield School of Management, spoke on the 'Nature of World Class Boards' at two jointly organised Cranfield/Link Foundation functions on 17 August in Auckland and 18 August in Wellington.

Each event started at about 2pm and ran through to 5.30pm and included coffee, the presentation from Professor Kakabadse followed by drinks, nibbles and networking.

The professor of international management development at the business school advises and works with boards across the globe. At the function, he shared insights from his recent global survey on how to achieve better board performance and will focus on what it means to be an effective leader and the tensions and pitfalls so many boards find themselves in.

The NZ-UK Link Foundation will support the Wellington function that will be held at the NZ High Commissioner's residence in Wellingon.
