New Vice-Patron for Link

The new Governor-General of New Zealand, His Excellency the Honourable Anand Satyanand PCNZM has agreed to become the new Vice-Patron for the NZ-UK Link Foundation.
Welcoming the news, Chairman of the New Zealand Management Committee Giff Davidson OBE said, “We are delighted that His Excellency will continue his personal interest as a very good friend of the NZ-UK Link and has agreed to take up our figurehead role in New Zealand.”
A former lawyer, judge and ombudsman, Anand Satyanand takes over as Vice-Patron from Dame Silvia Cartwright, who held the role during her period as New Zealand’s Governor-General. He joins the Patron of the Foundation, Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal and President Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. He is married to Susan and they have two adult children.
