Outstanding Young Executives Compete To Win Scholarship

John MacFarlane, early contributor and supporter for the new Cranfield New Zealand Alumni Scholarship. Now Chief Executive of ANZ Bank, John was at Cranfield in 1975. He will announce the award at a presentation at the Bank’s offices in Auckland on August 8th.

Outstanding young business executives in New Zealand have been competing for the opportunity to win a new scholarship worth up to $100,000, supported by the NZ-UK Link Foundation, to study for an MBA at the world-class Cranfield School of Management in England.

This edition of Link 9 also introduces exciting young portrait artist Freeman White who has been given a lift with an Edinburgh Residency, alongside Wellington's Kotuku Choir's impending tour in the latest announcements from the NZ Discretionary Awards. The latest Clark Collection/Creative New Zealand Scholar is departing New Zealand for the English arts and heritage scene, while young doctor Micaela Yee is in London undertaking a paediactric elective.
